IS AMERICAN DEMOCRACY UNDER ATTACK (?) OPEN FOR DEBATE I believe American Democracy is under attack and we are losing the war because we, the majority of Americans, are not even aware. From my vantage point and intelligence, American democracy is genuinely under attack. I believe that American Democracy is the only thing standing between the possibility of equality and those who are obsessed with delusions of power and control. I think the attack on, especially American Democracy, began during the Nixon Presidency, but only as a means to manipulate American institutions to the interest of powerful domestic and foreign interest. However, the attack picked up momentum and seriousness after the roles American Democracy played in both ending the Vietnam war and Apartheid in South Africa. The international disruption of economic and political influence the latter caused were like shock waves in the ruling classes or 1% world. I believe the wars in the Middle East, that began with George Bush, Sr. and escalated well out of proportion under George Bush, Jr., are a art of this effort to dismantle American democracy. I also believe that the War on Terror and the forming of Homeland Security have only been a means by which to redirect, disrupt, confuse and distract American military and intelligence operations away from the intrastate efforts of those involved in dismantling democracy.
