IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THAT AN ASTEROID WILL CRASH ON EARTH IN THE FUTURE ? IS IT A PROPHECY IN THE SCRIPTURE? LETS READ!! in the book of Revelation Chapter 8:7-11 (7)The angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up ( this could be coming from the sun ) (8) And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood. (9) And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed ( this could be an asteroid from outer space. it is burning because anything that enters the atmosphere of the earth will burn because of air friction. thats the reason why spaceships must enter the atmosphere at an angle to avoid to much air friction or they will explode ). (10) And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; (11) And the name of that star is wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. ( this is not a star that we see in the sky at night. this is an angel. Angels are called stars and this one is the fallen one whos name is LUCIFER. We can read about him in the book of Isiah Chapter 14: 4-19 . But I will focus only on verses 11 to 19. Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee; and the worms cover thee. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning (beginning) ! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars(angels) of God : I will sit upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north (Mt. Zion): I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like The Most High. and on verse 19 But thou art cast out like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with the sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. as we can read he is called and abominable branch full of worms. but why he is burning like a lamp? let me include here a verse from Koran(although I can not tell if the Koran is an inspired scripture allow me) from the chapter Sad: Your Lord said to the angels: I am creating a man from clay. When I have fashioned him and breathed my spirit into him, kneel down and prostrate yourselves before him. The angels prostrated themselves except Satan, who was too proud, for he was an unbeliever. Satan! said Allah, why do you not bow to him whom my own hands have made? Are you too proud, or do you think he is beneath you? . Satan replied; I am nobler than he. You created me from fire, but him from clay. so thats why the apostle John saw him burning like a lamp because God created him by fire. Now again its up to you to believe or not. Think about it!
