IS THIS A GOVERNMENT OF ONDO TOWN BY ONDO MAN AND FOR ONDO PEOPLE? The cliche, "Marginalization" does not pose any challenge to meaning and certainly not difficult to unravel like the complexity and mixture of Latin and English of Hon Patrick Obahiagbon, the former member of the Federal House of Representatives. It is mostly used when the political interest of a tribe, region, state or local government is threatened and weakened. I have tried to restrain my brain from getting drenched in this but reality of event appears to have forced my hand on my key pad. Imagine! Rotimi Adelola, SSG, Adesina Samuel, Head of Service, Toyin Akinkuotu and the latest, Rasheed A., an Ondo man appointed the chairman of Ondo Pilgrim Welfare Board. Some Labour Party members who frowned at this development said hordes of Ondo town indegenes over 200 of them are appointed as P As and S As. Some said immediate family members of Dr Rahman hold some silent but juicy positions while Professor Mimiko, VC, AAUA, Dr Oyeneyin, CMD, mother and child Ondo and Dr Abbas Mimiko, consultant to the state government are the people that call the short. Same applies to the in-laws of the governor. Is this not a government of the Ondo People by Ondo person and for Ondo People? Just helping them to think aloud.
