ISO temporary foster for a very sweet GSD/Lab mix puppy. Hes six months old, crate-trained, housebroken, and knows his basic obedience. Sleeps through the night. Totally fine with dogs and kids. Hasnt really been exposed to cats but I suspect hed be fine with them. Playful, loves to be with people, but will settle given something to chew on. Learns boundaries very quickly. He is intact, but he is absolutely not for breeding for any reason whatsoever. I have kept him intact and wish to keep him intact until hes 18 months old, once hes finished growing and his growth plates have closed and joints have solidified. This is strictly for health reasons, and I absolutely will not allow anyone who I believe will breed him to take him on. Nor will I allow anyone I believe is incapable of containing or keeping an intact dog away from females in heat house him. Im in a situation where I cant have him right now, and am looking for something for at least a month while I search for housing. I want him back, and if its not feasible to keep him and my other dog once I found a place, he has potential adopters interested. Im going to try my hardest to make it work, though, and I need somewhere for him to stay. Hes about as well-behaved a puppy as you could get with a six-month-old. He is active, but much calmer than most pups Ive met. Walks very well on leash, knows sit, down, crate, touch your hand with his nose, and shake. Hes only about 35lbs now, so I doubt hell be a large dog. If you can think of anyone or might be able to offer up some space in your home for a while, please let me know.
