IT IZ ONLY.......D’Banj’s Father Still Believes That His Son Chose The Wrong Career . Popular Nigerian Singer, D’banj who was recently refereed to as a legendary womanizer by a popular British Magazine seems to have a father who is not so proud of him.. D’banj aka ‘The kokomaster’ who has been rumored to dating Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kenya Moore and gorgeous Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji revealed that not only his father is unhappy about his music career but he is also concerned about him getting married. In a recent interview D’banj told Nigeria’s The Voice that despite his accomplishments his father still worries if Music is the right career for him. The singer said “Don’t do music’ is what my father told me. Even now, he says to me: ‘Are you sure this music thing is right for you?’” On the career part his father would have preferred: “Any other thing apart from music! My father is so quiet and reserved, whereas music puts you right out there. “He knows that fame can destroy things and he worries about me sustaining success. “He also says: ‘When I was your age, I was married and I already had you! When are you going to settle down?’’ However the popular Nigerian artiste said that getting married isn’t his priority at the moment “I think I want to get a Grammy first! But if an angel should pass, I might just be distracted!”NIAJE
