IT Security Admistrator ********************************** • Define security standards for the infrastructure and applications and oversee compliance • Running information security tools to perform regular and planned vulnerability assessment of the information systems infrastructure and business applications • Security policy enforcement and ensuring compliance • Perform follow up of the audit report recommendations and confirm implementation of non-compliant issues. • Administer the operational security tools –Firewall, UTM IPS, Proxies, DMZ and AV • Performing information security systems and networks logs analysis and reporting • Working and liaising with IS service desk with regard to information security incidents, problem analysis investigations and escalations thereof • Delivery coordination and facilitation of IS operations security projects • Carry out new systems/applications/infrastructure security architectural designs • Review security architectural designs and solutions and evaluate compliance to applicable security standards • Partner/Vendor liaison to leverage on security best practice Job Requirements • Atleast 3 years of experience in information systems security networking or application administration • Knowledge of security architecture designs and frameworks such as CoBIT, ISO and ISMS • Experience in networking technologies such as VPN,LAN,WAN and MPLS • Knowledge of application security standards and policies • Strong working knowledge in operating systems such as LINUX,UNIX, windows virtualization and enterprise patch management • Knowledge of security tools and technology such as firewalls, UTMs, intruder detection /prevention solutions, web Filters, data protection solutions etc • Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity practices • Good understanding of change management practices • Certification in CISA/CISM/CISSp/Checkpoint and Cisco Salary is between 80-100,000 Applications to careersinafrika@gmail
