IT WONT LET ME POST @JUANITA CLICK ON THE LINK YOU CAN SEE THE FENCE FRANKIE WENT THROUGHT IM GLAD YOUR BABY IS OK!!!! 10news/news/teen-bitten-by-pit-bull-in-spring-valley PostSecreted: 09/16/2013 Last Updated: 7 hours ago Spring Valley - A teenage boy was bit by a pit bull while walking Sunday night along Tyler Street. We’re told the teenage boy’s mom rushed him to Sharp Grossmont Hospital’s emergency room after he was attacked. A neighbor explained 10News how it happened. “We just heard a kid say help or something like that,” said Aust Pacheco, who lives next door to where the dog lives. He explains what happened Sunday night when he and his brother ran outside to help. “I asked him, what happened?,” Pacheco told 10News. “He just he just got bit from the neighbors dog and I was like you want us to call the cops? And he was like yeah, please.” At the same time, one neighbor put the pit bull back into his fenced yard, while another neighbor called the owners of the dog to let them know what had happened. Neighbors say the teenage boy was walking down the north side of Tyler Street when the pit bull ran from across the street. The teen broke through a neighbor’s fence just trying to get away. “He tried to hop the fence when the dog was attacking him,” added Pacheco. But seconds later, the dog ran back into his yard. “He bit him right in the knee,” Pacheco added. “He got scratched up on his elbow and side arm.” The owners of the dog didn’t want to talk with us on camera, but we could see as they let an animal control officer inside their home. “She was kind of shocked like why would the dog do that because the dog never attacked,” Pacheco said referring to the dog’s owner. The dog was turned over to County Animal Control by its owners once they arrived home. By law, the dog has to be monitored for rabies for the next 10 days, regardless if it’s had its vaccinations or not.
