Iceland is a country in need of money that I could see today when I had to pay import taxes on a gift from a friend. I called the customs and they just said, only gifts for weddings, birth days, graduation and the like are gifts. In otherwords you are not allowed to receive a gift exept birthday, wedding, graduation, communion..
