Id first heard this Urdu/Arabic/Farsi song in praise of the Prophet (ﷺ) in the 1990 Bollywood movie Henna, musically composed by the Indian music director Ravindra Jain and sung by Mohammad Aziz. It is popularly sung across the Indian subcontinent in many different tunes - many variant renditions exist across YouTube. The familiar opening quatrain in Arabic & Farsi was reportedly composed by Shaykh Sa’di Shirazi, but its hard to trace the lyrics of the actual song back to the original poet whod composed them. There is an all-Farsi version apparently by Mawlana Qudsi (slated for a future album, inshaAllah). The producer Mohammed Dbooni masterfully crafted this song to make it stand on its own, and it has been a favourite among Urdu speakers whove bought the first album. Very upbeat and celebratory. A *real* joy to sing it whenever Im called to do so. You can stream it on the link below (also has lyrics and translation), and follow the instructions to buy it directly from iTunes. https://soundcloud/naderkhanofficial/02-track-2-marhaba-urdu-nader-khan_take-my-hand_mstr-1
