Id just like to have a rant about every single seller should avoid - TopicsExpress

Id just like to have a rant about every single seller should avoid selling on Ebay at all costs. The system allows customers to abuse their sellers. I recently took to selling on Ebay, big mistake! Out of just 25 orders, 7 customers complained they never received there goods and their is absolutely no point in arguing with them because Ebay backs all these people. I also think its worth mentioning that the buyers got their fabric for stupid low prices, which Ebay takes a large percentage off. I dont know how companies like Plush Addict etc sell on Ebay! All my transactions on Facebook are incredible I have fantastic customers and I know exactly where I stand and where my products are. Whatever you do. Do not sell your goods or any of your belongings on Ebay as their are far to many dishonest customers out their looking to get something for free and have no problem raising a dispute especially as Ebay openly allows customers to abuse sellers. Its grotesque and what I consider day light robbery!! End of Rant. What do you think! For the record charging regarding recorded delivery: You are penalised by Ebay and the customers for charging Recorded postage, you get low star rankings which stop you qualifying for discounts which are very much needed. Ive had a cases where I had tracking information and claims the package was empty when delivered. You cannot charge Recorded pOstage and expect to make a sale on Ebay. People leave you negative feedback for high postage costs, despite it being the exact cost from Royal Mail and when your selling just a FQ of fabric you get even more abuse from customers about recorded delivery. xx
