Id like to explain something to you so please try to understand where im coming from ツ when you go to Mc Donalds and go to buy a 99¢ Big Mac, and they say "Im sorry but theyre not $2.99" You rarely say "Okay nevermind, thats too much" and walk out. When you go to a dealership to buy a BMW, you dont say "$25,000 is too much" and try to get it at a Hondas price, and when you go to buy a house, you dont say "$250,000 is too much, I was hoping to buy this house at a low income apartments price" You would naturally figure these are set prices probably because thats the fair market value of these things so you pay it and are usually verry happy with your purchase right? I know I do!! Well when you inquire about Dj services for your wedding, and I quote you my price, please try to understand that these prices are not intended to "make me rich" theyre to compensate for the large financial investment that I have made to insure that i give you the very best entertainment, sound, lighting and special effect for your soecial day. In addition, your Dj has to make 10+ trips back and forth to the vehicle to load over 500lbs of heavy equipment that requires over 2 hours to set up for you, and finally, please keep in mind that when you planned your budget, you set aside a large amount for catering which most of it will be wasted, spilled, left on tables, and thrown in the trash at the end of the night. Another large portion was set aside for a dress that you will wear for one day only for a total of 3 to 6 hours, decorations that will be trashed at the the end of the night and forgotten about. Your Dj on the other hand has lots of hard work to do, were the first to show up and the last to leave. We create memories, by playing the song you will walk down the isle to, you will have your 1st dance with your new life partner with, the dance you will share with your Mother and Father, and create a celebration of a new life for you that will never be forgotten, thrown in the trash at the end of the night, wasted on tables, or used for a total or 6 hours. Your Dj plays one of the most important roles of your special once in a lifetime day.. Yet, the Dj is very seldom included in the budget and is usually expected to do all of these things for less than you paid for your cake. With that said, please try to understand that we do infact play an important role and there will be no celebration without our hard work, energy and time, so as youre planning your special day, try not to forget about your Dj or band and save a fair budget for us. Were worth much more than cakes and the table cloth its sitting on! ツ
