If you have a story you want to share, include it in the comments section below. From Ross: Ive worked for Walmart for 8 years in the North Dakota oil patch. I originally took the job as a full time department manager. About two years ago, I took a full time job working for the city. There were no benefits with the city job, so I stayed on with Walmart two days a week to retain health insurance for my family. I heard the announcement today ON THE RADIO over my lunch hour. The company didnt even bother warning us themselves. After eight years of service, youd think theyd at least do that courtesy (especially considering their open enrollment period for insurance benefits is this month). I walked in and quit this afternoon. Goodbye, corporate America.
