Id like to say offer a few kind words to the Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children. Youve no doubt heard many families tell of the battles to get the equipment they need; the lengthy delays, the assessments, budgets stretched past breaking point. That’s why Newlife equipment grants and loans are so important. Theyve helped our family immeasurably by providing us with a special needs pushchair; built to survive any and all meltdowns we may have in the future, and be a comfortable, safe space for my son for many years. The application process was smooth and painless, and in phone conversations we were given experienced, practical advice. Were endlessly grateful. If you, or someone you know, needs provision for disability equipment, you have a few choices. Commonly its an exorbitantly over-priced specialist retailer, but it doesnt have to be. With wonderful charities like Newlife, the help is out there- and more people should be aware of it.
