Id like to share an experience I had on the Bus today. I got - TopicsExpress

Id like to share an experience I had on the Bus today. I got on the bus, I had my two dollars, machine spit back out one of them dollars but took it the second time. Get 5 minute speech(perhaps a little exaggerated) from the bus driver essentially complaining All these kids, On their smartphones, dont take the time to flatten out their bills before getting on the bus.... It was essentially that but long winded and very condescending. While it pushed my buttons a little, I figured I would let it go because Ive had the urge to vent at a job over something trivial before to. A couple stops later, A guy gets on and tries to use a bus pass, but it obviously was expired. I had a couple dollars extra so I gave it to the guy to help him out. This made him my bus buddy for awhile. Essentially him sitting down a couple seats from me and talking a bit about his ideas or whatever. One of them being Why dont they put solar panels on the windmills at wind farms kinda talk. Unfortunately Im not able to tell you how we got on such a conversation but it wasnt forced. He came to his end stop before mine, and he got off. Not 2 seconds after the bus driver started driving away, She started critiquing this guy. Oh hes always like this. Comes in, scam of the week, always trying to use an expired bus pass. I think hes a meth head or on something. This isnt in a conversational tone mind you. It is in a tone/level where the entire bus could hear. My near-zero tolerance for rudeness came out and put her back into her place. saying essentially Lynx transportation is not paying you for social commentary on our lives. We are all paying customers and should be treated with respect so please shut up at least until I get off the bus And so she shut her mouth and the rest of the bus ride was very pleasant. I liken her attitude to a waiter who complains about another paying table to another table. It should not be acceptable or tolerated. If you are in a customer service field, No matter who comes in your business, they should be respected if you want their business. And if you have a complaint about customers, you take it to your boss, not other paying customers. Another comment I had everyone agreeing to that really drove the point home is when I said Who knows what shell say about us when we get off the bus. Honestly this could have been part of that TV show What would you do. I thought for a second perhaps I had been a little to forward in my reaction, but on the bus ride back I happened sit next to a person who witnessed the encounter and thanked me for being forward because that woman had no business saying what she did about that guy. Anyways, I thought I would share.
