Id like to thank members of this group for making me aware of the variability of local heating oil prices. Ive never been much of a shopper, and always assumed that they would all be pretty close, maybe a dime or so difference. When somebody posted about their problems with Superior a few weeks ago, and various individuals posted prices at various suppliers, it was a real heads up for me. So this time round (I dont use much oil, usually 150 gallons per winter does it), I called 3 places and got a spread of .65 on the gallon. I saved almost $100 on the delivery by buying from Emery instead of Oehlert (where I was originally planning to purchase). Thats very significant amount of money to me :)
