Id originally planned this weeks Bottomless Pit as a straight-up Summer Rerun of show #98, from May of 2013. Instead, itll be a modified rerun, swapping the original Pt. 1 for a now-overdue tribute to the great guitarist and songwriter Dick Wagner; he passed away back on July 30th. I first saw Dick, with his band, The Frost, at the roller rink in Caseville, Mich. when I was about 14 yrs. old (along with my friend Charlee Throneburg) and became a Fan for Life.. He was one of the heroes of my youth. In addition to the great, and now, sadly, late Dick Wagner, well hear some great experimental avant-garde music from 3 ex-members of Paul Revere and The Raiders, from the Joyride album by Drake Levin and Friendsound, a real keeper.. To be honest, I forget what else is on the show; Ive been away from my desk for about 3 weeks now.. But I encourage you to tune in and find out!..
