Idrees Yousaf posted this on the Catalans supporting an independent Scotland group. I asked in the instance of posting whether the SNP had made any definitive statements that would oppose Fracking in Scotland....he liked the comment but no answer issued, I pressed and as yet still nothing forth coming. One of the main reasons I voted Yes was to halt the Neo Liberal Capitalist machine in its tracks. The proposition levelled here may well be viable but until i hear a clear commitment from the SNP to halt Fracking, make a stand against TTIP and GMOs, I for one will not support them as we will simply be signing up for more of the same. Nationalism, Ethnic or Civic is no motivator for me and not a safeguard from the threats our communities face, and in fact it can be a ready facilitator to any Corporate agenda. Press for real commitment and be careful what you wish for.
