If Charisma, personal accolades or knowledge of Islam were the criteria for defining how effective a leader is to control mobs then I implore you to read your history. Read what happened in the Battle of Jamal. There were crowds/mobs under the supervision of Ummul Mumineen Ayesha and 3 Sahabah who were from the 10 who were guaranteed Jannah - Talha, Zubayr and Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib. May Allah be pleased with them all. Once there was disturbance as crowds came face-to-face with state security crowds, they ALL lost control. Are your leaders more charismatic, knowledgeable and loftier in Allahs Eyes than these noble personalities? No! No! No! Mobs do not have leaders! Ask yourselves - and your leaders - this question repeatedly. You know what the above-mentioned Noble people did when they saw the ensuing madness? They BACKED OFF IMMEDIATELY. As soon as things simmered down (overnight) the crowds were dispersed. Ummul Mumineen et al did not make it an issue of their egos! Despite having a legal claim (that Imam Ali recognized) they realized that mobs were only going to stop them from reaching their goals. Back off, right now, if you fear Allah and want good for this nation.
