If Christ is in us, Why are we so defeated? The question always arises, “If Christ is really in us, then why are we poor, defeated, and discouraged?” It is because, Christ has not been revealed to us nor have we become one with Him. Our minds have not been renewed and taught by the Holy Spirit. Many have a head knowledge of this truth but not a divine revelation of Him. The only way we are going to be able to “withdraw” from the “riches” of Christ is by revelation and understanding. Revelation opens our eyes, so we can know and understand Him. This in turn opens the “bank vault” of Christ’ riches to come forth and be manifested through us. Once we come to see and know Christ as the source of our lives, we will be drawing from His unlimited supply of riches, love, peace, joy, power, strength etc. We will no longer be children and beggars, going about looking for drinks of water, rather we will be living and drinking from the “living water” continuously. Then from His unlimited source, we will be able to feed and supply others with the living waters and bread of life that we ourselves are feeding on. We have been misguided in trying to find the source of life in the church, in prayer, in worship, in fasting, in our activities etc. All these things are good, but they are not the Source. Christ is the Life Source and Living Waters and He lives in us. Therefore everything of God, comes from Him who dwells in us.
