If Facebook is such a bad thing that people need to deactivate every time something spiritual happens. Then it probably isnt the best thing for one to be on outside of Ramadan. We have to make our personal newsfeed into a Paradise and not a Hellfire. Like anything, Facebook is a tool and if you hammer yourself over the head with your own tools, then how does this fix anything. At the end of the day it is not the T.V, the phone, the radio or the Facebook page that is distracting. All of these can be tamed. The essence of what needs to be tamed though is the Nafs. We can never allow ourselves to be Ramadan Muslims.
