If Florida were an open carry state, Trevon Martin would have never been shot. Let me explain. Trayvon was an athletic and big 17 year old, full of testosterone while George was a fat out of shape neighborhood watch type. Trayvon seeing George would feel not threatened. George, while carrying a concealed gun, felt safe following him. If Trayvon saw that George was carrying a gun I believe he would have never attacked Zimmerman and no shot would have been fired. To me, the right to open carry being taken away, may have led to Trayvons death. Just my opinion. "The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"
