If “Home Sweet Home” does not describe the place where you live, then adjustments need to be made. Our home needs to be a restful place in which to retreat at the close of the day or at the end of a journey. It should be a place where food and conversation are enjoyed in an atmosphere of peace. Proverbs 17:1 says, “Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting and conflict.” Life is too short not to enjoy the place we call home.
