If I claim you as a dependent on my tax return and I pay for your iPhone - theres conditions that apply. I read your messages, chat and search the browsing history. If any of the above has been deleted, or altered in any manner, you lose your phone. No exceptions. Thankfully, my kid hasnt violated my trust but my oh my, when you read what some other teenagers write - it makes you wonder if their parents have a pulse. Or a clue.
