If I had only remembered to forget about the small things and to look up at the sky, to ask for forgiveness and to play with my children more often, to hold my love longer than I needed and to smile at strangers, to thank my parents and to laugh instead of cry, to write when my hands were sore and to eat well and healthily, to harden my body and to strengthen my mind, to soften my heart and to quit smoking, to be someone’s hero and to understand the value of money, to be more romantic and to be less distrustful, to nurture the roots of others and to sow the seeds of my own, to take giant leaps and to have faith in the leaps I’ve leapt, to enjoy the beauty of nature and to lay in the grass; so green, to forget about tomorrow and to live in the moment, for it is not behind time, nor past due, or too late, for I am here, alive and well. - Marc-Lee Tierney Poetry Anonymous Page Manager
