If I had time machine I wouldnt go to a different era in history, that would be.. uhmm.. a waste of time. Id merely go to my younger self and encourage me to acknowledge that Im different and pursue it all the more. To stop denying it or trying so damn hard to fit in. Or even caring about who understands me so I can explain myself so as not to be judged for it. I may have said this before but probably never with such a deep conviction from knowing that my being different has made a huge difference to those who have needed it most. I only wish that being my true self came as naturally to me now as it did when I was younger. Learning to hide becomes instinctual after a while, you forget how not to habitually self-censor all the time and just be.. #themoreIam #themoreyoucanbe
