If I let you in, will you treat my heart well, as though it matters to you? If I let you see both the good and the not so good, will you like me/love me anyway? If I tell you how I feel, will you share my feeling, and really mean it? Will you be honest and never lie to me? Never tell me one thing, when the exact opposite is what you should have told me? If together we light a fire, and if it begins to burn ardently, will you put as much into keeping the fire hot as I will? If we find a connection of mind, heart, and soul, and if I get excited about it, will you get just as excited? If I ask you to never let me go, will you always stay? If I trust you with my heart, will you care for it and nurture it and protect it? Will you be willing to protect it with your life, if necessary? If we find that we have a shared soul, will you celebrate that and esteem it as the wonderful gift which that would be? Will you? Because I will. What we give, we get back. And that in multiples. What we put into a thing, we receive back from that thing, an exponential harvest.
