If I understand the issue correctly, we are encouraging young - TopicsExpress

If I understand the issue correctly, we are encouraging young people to jump the Death Train to get from Central America to the US border, and then we are keeping them, because their homes are too dirty and violent and unsafe for them to be returned. Personally, Id worry about young people traveling the length of Mexico alone. Rape and violence must be rampant. Why do we stand for this? We should send transportation to get these young people! Our armed forces have many thousands of aircraft, and (if I understand my friends on the left) their lives are awful, and because of this, we are obligated to take them in and provide support. We should go collect them! But why stop there? The lives of young people (well, the lives of everyone, to be fair) also suck in The Congo, Sudan. parts of Nigeria, Zimbabwe, the Philippines, Malaysia, India and China. Dont we also owe it to these children to collect them, bring them to our shores, so we can properly feed, clothe, house and educate them? It only seems fair. Why dont we just collect all of the children suffering in the world? The world is full of ghettos (everywhere but in the US, apparently) and it is our moral duty to adopt the children from these places. We can always print more money, after all. Im in. Lets put them all in public schools and public housing in Brentwood, CA. Fairfax, VA. Beacon Hill. San Francisco. Marthas Vineyard. West Palm Beach. Buffet and Gates can adopt a few thousand apiece. Put them in MT Kisco, NY and Litchfield, CT. Lets get them situated well among the wealthiest. Tribeca could use some diversity. Stamford, CT and the Hamptons could take a few hundred thousand. Lets get this done! We arent racists, after all, or even nativists, and we owe these poor people! cnn/2010/WORLD/americas/06/23/mexico.train.death/
