If I were 1MDB, I would issue the following statement and also put it on our website: --- 1MDB is NOT a Sovereign Wealth Fund that invests our countrys extra money. 1MDB is also NOT just a 100% govt owned strategic development company. 1MDB is a 100% govt owned special purpose vehicle to undertake very large-scale strategic national-interest transformation projects based on private-sector financing and principles. If 1MDB is successful, the Rakyat of Malaysia will benefit from: 1) a fairer IPP industry owned by the Rakyat to ensure Malaysias energy security and a fairer electricity rate for all; 2) The worlds leading Islamic financial center in the shiny high-tech TRX; 3) A world-class residential and commercial development Bandar Malaysia project that bridges Singapore via the proposed high-speed rail with TRX and will act as an example and catalyst that future property development in Malaysia will be bench-marked against. 4) Small and medium-sized targeted community projects that addresses targeted and immediate needs of Malaysians. 5) All the tens of thousand of direct and indirect high-value jobs that the investments that 1MDB brings in from overseas from the above strategic projects --- Note to 1MDB management : People wanna know what they get for our money. Why must we trust you, 1MDB. Whats in it for us! And must be explained simply and clearly coz we are all zombies.. What do you think?
