If Nigeria were a francophone nation, there may have been an intervention, however insufficient, in spite of expected murmurings over imperialism by African scholars of empty ideologies, from a people who set in us deep-rooted crises, of which that of identity is just one: the Colonialists. France still remembers its babies, while the Anglophones seem to be forsaken orphans! Why, for Gods sake, is Nigeria still a member of the Commonwealth of Nations when, even in applying for UK visas, membership privileges are no longer honoured - our fault, of course? We need foreign interventions to be really on top of the Boko Haram situation no matter the number of strings attached... Let this come quick before the planned mass suicide being organised by some delusional Internet Warriors who have never showed up for a single protest in a safe city, aside from exhibiting cyber-heroism from their air-conditioned pads. If any emotion-driven civilian is deceived into joining the suicide mission to Sambisa, these organisers better know that well hunt them down and charge them for crimes against humanity in The Hague!
