If U have a Hard Time Forgiving Someone, Then This one is For You Many years ago, a father tried to kill his own 11-month old son by injecting the baby with HIV-tainted blood to avoid responsibility of paying child support. Brian Stewart, the father of the child, Bryan Jackson, worked as a phlebotomist in Columbia. Reports said that this man was not married to Jackson’s mother, and he didn’t want to have a child by her either, that was why he attempted to kill the baby, with hopes that it’ll die soon. If so, he thought he could free himself from paying support. Stewart was caught and sentenced to life in prison, During his sentencing, the presiding judge can’t help but tell him, “The most I can give you is life in prison, but I really don’t think that’s fair compared to what your son will go through. When your son dies, I’m pretty sure he’ll go to heaven. But I really think you’re going to burn in hell for all eternity.” Jackson developed AIDS when he turned 5 years old. According to the doctors, he should have died. However, as he was growing up, he lost his hearing due to the sheer amount of medicine he was taking in, such as 23 oral pills, 2 IV bags and 3 injections a day. Now, Jackson is a 22-year old man. He said, “I went from 23 pills to just one pill a day and now I’m undetectable, my T-cell count has been up, giving me zero per cent chance of passing on the virus.” After learning this, doctors were shocked. His body had fought and beat the usually-fatal virus. But what’s more shocking is the fact that Jackson, a man now living with a strong Christian faith, forgave his father. “I think there is salvation for everyone, and I find myself praying for his salvation,” he said.
