If You Can Believe, You Will See The Glory Of God Jesus said, - TopicsExpress

If You Can Believe, You Will See The Glory Of God Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto Him, Lord by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? (John 11:39-40) John G Lake said, most of us believers have enough faith to believe that Jesus has done away with our past sins when we confess them to Him, but we find it difficult to have the same faith in Him for healing, or any other miracle. What a surprise! If we can believe that when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us, why do we doubt Him when we ask for healing, or financial breakthrough? The two verses above was extracted from one of the familiar passages of the scriptures most us know. It is all about the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Jesus was told that His friend had been sick, but before He got there, he had died. Its been four days now in the grave and all hope was lost. This miracle Jesus performed was the only miracle that has no comparism with every other miracle. Jesus did raised the deads, but none of them have been in the grave for four days. By this time, Lazaruss body was already undergoing decomposition. When Jesus asked them to roll away the stone, Martha, the sister of Lazarus said Lord, By now he should be stinking. Dont try to create a scene here Lord. If this stone should be rolled away, the kind of odour that will come out of this grave, none of us will be able to eat in the next one week. But Jesus was not moved by what they told Him, but rather by faith. Many of us allow what they tell us to weaken our faith. First of all, nobody has ever been raised after being in the grave for four days. But that does not mean that it cannot start with you. Your problem may be unique, but that should not make despaired. Be a histroy maker. Tell yourself you can make it. You may not necessarily need encouragement from people. Encourage yourself. When David came to Ziklag and found the city burnt and their wives and children taken captive and their properties carted away, Bible said he encourage himself in the Lord. Beloved, people may tell you that there is no need trying, you cant make it through. But if you can believe, wont you see the glory of God? Probably like Lazarus, that situation is already decomposing and everybody has abandoned you, but if you can roll away that stone of unbelief, wont you see the glory of God? The greatest tragedy is for one to give up on himself. The whole world may give up on you, but dont give up on yourself. Let your friends give up on you, but dont give up on yourself. Believe and you will see the glory of God. Remain blessed!
