If an animal bites a person, and is held in 10 day quarantine at animal control, can the animal be released to rescue? Weve just had a very sad and tragic thing occur and need answers. Oh - Norah McClure - thank you. Current on all vaccines, and it was a cat that bit a child. Ive pulled these cases before. Not a single cat was mean. Cats bite when kids arent appropriate. This was a sweet cat from our rescue.
