If another person asks me about making it I swear I am going to throw a snow ball in their face. If you arent interested in where Ive been or how far Ive come, but you are more interested in who i have met or worked with. Then I dont want to talk to you about what I do. Making it to anyone normal translates to surviving/staying afloat. However If you are an artist. it means you have crossed a proverbial line from the have-nots to the haves working with celebrities making money and being on tv/radio. Is it really that difficult to imagine that an artist can make it with out trudging down the same beaten path? my job actually requires more sacrifice and it means that i will probably make less in my life because i do what i love. ive seen plenty of you try music and give up. its scary and this lifestyle is not for the timid, its for the irrationally bold. Making it to me simply means Suffering through conversations with one dimensional people. So if you ask me have you made it yet? I will probably say. No, though hopefully I will soon.
