If anyone buying butterflies, please ask for the details of the breeder and know whether the breeder have USDA permits to ship, and whether the butterflies are safe because many of the commercially bred species have diseases and harm the persons who release them...Also if they have permission to release at Lake Kenosia...Butterflies come under wildlife in US and plant pests in the state of Connecticut. There are absolutely no butterfly breeders in the state of Connecticut which means they are being shipped interstate. And interstate shipping of live butterflies needs USDA(United States Department of Agriculture) permit from the breeder as well as the receiver in some cases..please ask questions and know what exactly you are up to when buying the butterflies..
