If anyone is looking for a fuel saving running around vehicle: 01 Jetta GLS TDI 151xxx, its got leather, power sunroof, premium sound, has a Malone 1.5 tune with nozzles, and EGR delete(tune needs to be updated for the EGR, currently has a low flow code on the dash). No rust or major body damage, there is a small ding in the passenger front bumper by the wheel well, and a few very small hail dings on the hood. Car came from Texas, was owned by one person locally for a short time and then Ive had it since May 2013. The Good: EuroTec in Wichita did a whole timing job with new water pump, rollers, pulleys, new serp belt and tensioner, and resealed the injection pump less than 10k ago. All fluids have been changed out with AmsOil Synthetics, its still got 6k or so before an oil change and fuel filter are due. New rear brakes, pad and rotors were put on 2k ago, tires are Toyo Proxes and they have 5-7k on them and a ton of meat left, it will come with a set of Hankook IPike winter tires(no rims) that I bought last year, have less than 2k on them. I also rebuilt the entire front end less than a year ago, new control arms, ball joints, tie rods, the works. It has a nice aluminum skid plate underneath it to protect the engine. Ive put a ton of money into it since Ive owned it so I hope someone will be able to appreciate it. The bad: It will need new rear shocks sometime soon, the headliner is sagging some, currently held with push pins at the driver door, and at some point the blend doors will need to be resealed so all the hot air goes where you want. I was going to get that done before it got cold but ran out of time. Also the heated seats dont work, I havent looked into it to check if its a fuse, switch or wiring. The injection pump also has a small leak on cold startup. Once the metal warms up, it swells, and the leak stops. It will eventually need a reseal, or to have a rebuilt pump put on. It would be a good time for a 11mm pump upgrade if someone wanted to go that route. Ive had it for a year and a half, its been super reliable for me, gets around 40mpg mixed, 45+ highway depending on speed. The last tank was 41mpg, 50/50 driving. Clean title in hand, make me an offer on it. Itll be good for someone with all the work and money that Ive put into it. Let me know if you guys have questions or want more details.
