If half a mountain slides onto your house, homeowners insurance wont cover it. We know earthquake and flood insurance is extra, but who thinks of this? Not the poor people in Oso, WA. :-( The loss of life is primary, of course, but the people left alive will have absolutely nothing. Am I the only one who thinks insurance should cover everything that isnt specifically and explicitly excluded in advance?
