If i was Enda Kenny Id do the following. Wind up the quango that is Irish water and return the metres to supplier for a refund. Introduce a standard water charge of €50 per year per household on total incomes of €50 k per year, €75 up to €100 k and €100 for incomes over €100 k. This money would be used by local and city councils to repair leaks, improve the water quality and generally maintain and sustain the water supply service. Id listen to the electorate more closely, pay attention to what they are saying instead of ignoring them and acting arrogantly and obnoxiously. Focus more on the less well off in society, struggling families, the elderly and infirm. Id make sure that they are not going without food and have enough funds to heat their homes this winter. If i was Enda Kenny there is a lot more Id but foccussing on the weaker side of society would be my priority and i think thats what politics should be all about.
