If it’s cool to be an early adopter of technology, then you all know exactly how uncool I am as I am terminally slow adopter of facebook. I joined this week, exactly one week and one decade after it was cool to do so. And I have joined to ask you all to help tell other parents about changes to Naplan which you may not be aware of. This year, year 9 NAPLAN is a pass/fail test and if your child fails to meets set standards they will be required to do extra exams in year 10 or 11, and may be ineligible for WACE in year 12. Please have a look at the following page. It will tell you about the changes. If you are happy to, please like it, share it , comment and tell as many parents of year 9 children as possible. Usually I tell Lara not to worry about NAPLAN as it “doesn’t really matter.” This year it does!
