If the efficacy of the Mass is judged base on what you get out of it, then go to Mass when the mood strikes you, but by all means, if you arent in the mood, then sleep in, go to Dennys and have a relaxing Sunday if thats what you happen to fancy on a particular Sunday. However, if the Mass is the fulfillment of the third Commandment and is efficacious whether or not you happen to be in a particular mood that day, and if the Mass is objectively good, and if missing Sunday or Holy Day Masses (assuming you arent ill, caring for someone whos ill, or that the drive is too dangerous) places you outside the Body of Christ and is a definitive act that breaks off Communion with God, then you should attend Mass every Weekend and Holy Day, regardless of your mood that day.
