If the universe has a lesson to teach it will find a way to teach it regardless of how hard we are kicking and screaming to avoid that said lesson. My lesson in life which is most difficult for me to grasp is patience. Patience with myself as well as others around me. Although I feel like I have become a more patient person through the years I also know that that journey is a long way from its end. My new lesson is my recent silly shoulder injury that has been preventing me from doing my regular practice and life by forcing me to slow down and wait for it to heal. I undid all of my progress today in one move. Oh mighty universe, I get it. I am a horrible student of practicing ahimsa. And now to start from scratch....again.
