If there is one eating spot I never liked in the Keys, it was Whale Harbor. The all-you-can-eat buffet was not decent quality and unfortunately the tourist patrons that went there acted as if this was their last meal going at the food in barbaric manners. Then they added a Brazilian steak house. In the Keys? Well, its gone for now. All except the lighthouse tower entrance (as of Thursday), its all torn and gone. Yes, they are going to built a new one but further back and overlooking the water. Hopefully it will be better than what it was before. AND, Wahoos with its second floor open air overlooking the Atlantic bar and tables is still open. That one we do like and frequent on our ways down the Keys.
