If there is one major achievement GEJ government did achieve, its the National Identity Card, which was launched today. It embedded into this Biometric card are ones biodata, Personal Identification Number, Financial transaction (ATM, PoS etc) etc. This will help to remove and clear all ghost identity and settle the issue of population based on demographics. Now we will know truly the true population of Nigeria as all enrolls. I am ecstatic and happy that this has been achieved, following lots of obstacles. This is one achievement that have defiled all past government. Its not like i am not aware of some other hiccups in this government, but truth is, GEJ is quietly and smartly, delivering those NO-GO areas and gradually entrenching real factors that is needed for economic factoring and development. Privatising PHCN was a herculean task in the past, NO past government was able to succeed. This was an institution through which trillions were syphoned, GEJ, smartly and quietly, did it, we are one yr into this privatisation and we are improving on it. This National ID card has been a herculean task. Many sections of the country vehemently fought against it, smartly, and quietly, without violence or harassment, he delivered it. Today, we have a system that will ensure full database of all Nigerians. More is to come out of it as they plan to give access to Security operatives for search and identification. Financial Transactions will be monitored through this as well as the Banks biometric system that CBN implemented. Gradually, a system that will checkmate looting, capital flight, recklessness financial transactions etc is here. I told a friend, that GEJ may be slow, may have some serious shortcomings but he is systematically, setting us a sustainable environment, not quick and cut style that we used to see. He may be unpopular for now, but we must encourage all his efforts. Now GEJ, attack the education, Security and health sector. Bring the reforms that are sustainable, that will discourage failure, that will monitor and regulate the system. You have done well in Agriculture also Next four years, if he wins, will make Nigeria, a nation we will be proud of, if the enemies of this country will allow him and give him peace. To cure a cancer, you have to find the root cause, and treat it from there to avoid spread, Nigeria has much more than cancer, we need a deep root assessment and setting up of structures that will mitigate and stop the rot in the system. Now we are gradually building the system.
