If there was one thing that proves the world is going to hell in a XXXL tee shirt it is stairs. After spending a week on a cruise ship it is all I can do not to grab a herd of overweight buffet worshippers waiting for an elevator to go one floor and drag their overstuffed cargo shorts up a few flights. How do you get to point in life that you choose total self destruction over giving yourself a chance to live? After 38 years in this business I have heard every bullshit, politically correct, blame others, you have no idea of my personal struggle why I am fat excuse. Stairs prove all that is total crap. You are standing in front of an elevator and there are stairs 5 feet away. Which choice someone picks gives you an entire view of how they live, and how they will die. Fitness is a personal choice. You make a 100 small decisions everyday that determine the quality of your life, but only you own that choice. Got to go now, there are stairs out there that need my attention and I have to tend the ever expanding herd. By the way, when did cargo shorts and cheap tee shirts become the uniform of the extreme eating team? I must have missed that somewhere.
