If there were ever any doubts that a 3A school like Western Boone ( Stars ) can hang with a 5A school like West Lafayette Harrison ( Raiders )... Well here is the score Stars 33 Raiders 7....first quarter seemed like it was going to be a defensive game...ended 0-0... It took the Stars a while to get there footing before closing out the half by a 14-0 score... The Stars came out firing again as they put up 13 unanswered points by the end of the 3rd quarter... The 4th quarter was much of the same but the Stars scored early and made it 33-0... Mid way through the 4th quarter the Raiders found the end zone for there only score which made it 33-7... The JV answered with some of there talent shutting down The Raiders varsity...both sides finished the game with JV and our boys were knocking for another 7 pts. but they put the knee down on the 8 yard line...not only did the young men prove themselves but showed TRUE SPORTSMAN SHIP....I take my hat off to the coaching staff and the Stars... I am truly PROUD TO BE A STAR ALUMNI AND TO BE A PARENT AND FAN OF OUR SCHOOL....lets buckle up and travel to Frankfort next week and take back last years defeat....
