I am not surprised, as I also read years ago that the Big Banks were already working on their next bailout, soon after the last one was gifted to them by the Bush Administration in the fall of 2008. Theyre at it again. I read that before G.W. Bush left office, that it was already in place to bail these very same banks out when they do it the next time. When, not if. Even these banks have help write up their new bailouts, like Citibank, whose lobbyists wrote 70 of the 85 lines of The Swaps Regulatory Act (HR 992), which guts a crucial part of Dodd-Frank law meant to protect the taxpayers from future bailouts. Citibank is now pressuring congress to pass this quickly. I am not surprised, as I also read years ago that the banks were working on their next bailout soon after the last one was granted during the Bush Administration.
