If were making ALL entertainers use their real names, then we need to make sure that Paul Hewson, Reginald Dwight, and Cordozar Broadus (Bono, Elton John, and Snoop Dogg, respectively) change their online personas immediately. This kind of regulation is a great example of the cultural disconnect that occurs when the majority dont take into consideration the norms of a marginalized community. Sometimes the rule-makers just dont get a cultural phenomena, so instead of trying to understand it, they impose regulations that, while making perfect sense for most people, inadvertently discriminate against others.
