If ya eyes are the tunnel to ya soul then how do we cry rivers, Why do we go through all the pain just to be delivered, Why does it all hurt again, my vision get any clearer , Its raining I swear,.... its raining all on my mirror, They say hes a good talker and he know how to listen, But these words they follow hollow the feeling is just missing, They say you can better ya tomorrow , but Im worried about this one, Cause today is the battle and Im destined to lose this one, Something just got to switch up, something just got to give, I just want my life, I just want to live, I just want my family, I just want my kids. I just want success at the end of all of this, Cause u cant get back the time that you decided to miss, See the preverbal rock and a hard place.. And Im stuck in between, Track shoes ....on I was chasing the green, Not Martin Luther King..... but I was chasing A Dream, But my real dreams deferred.... No longer directing the scene, See this is what I mean....Im trapped wit no escape, But I know I got to go before it is too late, So I sit back and plot on how to make it shake, Stack up, strategize and then I make a break, I break for the fences ...the dawgs was trying to catch me, Trying to play by the rules the laws trying to stress me, I came in as a man so as a Man U gon respect me, But I need Gods helping hand to mold, mentor, direct ME..............
