If you are able to be off work Monday then thank a Union. Labor day was set aside to celebrate the Labor movement in America. No matter what your thoughts are on the issue of Unions, Monday you will be celebrating the labor movement. If you work over 40 hours a week then thank Unions for the overtime pay because they are who made it law, If you have ever been hurt on the job and received medical care and workmans compensation benefits then thank a union for making sure that law was passed, If you have ever received unemployment benefits then thank a Union for getting that law passed along with every other labor related benefit you receive you can thank a union for fighting for it and setting the standard for it even if you have never been in a Union. If you think you would get any of these things if unions didnt exist then you live in LALA land for sure and if you think your company would volunteer these benefits if they were not law you have drank way to much of a mixture of Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh idiot juice in your lifetime.
