Ellie is the 7 year old daughter of SSGT Kyle James of the 13th Asos, who is a member of Team RWB. She is currently in treatment and battling a very rare form of cancer. As members of the TACP Family, the James have endured deploymets, training exercises, and long hours in service to our Nation. We hope you will join us as we rally around Ellie, who need our support as she battles this cancer. About a year ago, a tumor was found on their Ellies spinal cord. She went through over 6 months of chemotherapy to shrink the benign tumor on her spinal cord. Initially, the treatment seemed to be working but, by mid-summer Ellie began experiencing symptoms that related to regrowth of the tumor. She then went through 6 weeks of radiation to more aggressively attack the tumor. After an MRI early this month, they have found that Ellies grade 1 tumor has changed into a malignant stage 3 anaplastic ganglioglioma in her brain. This is a very aggressive and rare tumor. There are not many documented cases of this type of cancer. Ellie has just completed week 1 of a 3 week radiation regimen. At this point, alternative therapies are being considered, as Ellie is in need of nothing short of a miracle. WHAT CAN YOU DO: Pray with every ounce of energy that you have - we need her healed.
