If you are planning to come to WhatFest and stay here at Lazy Acres Campground, just a couple things you should know that is different for this particular weekend only: 1) tent camping is on a 1st come 1st served basis. All RV and camper spaces are already reserved. 2) You can bring in your car to unload your gear, then youll be asked to either park it off the park on Fields Ave or take advantage of the free shuttle and park at the rodeo grounds and ride it back. 3) When you check in, youll be charged thru Saturday night, leaving Sunday. If you have to leave earlier, present to the office by 11am and well refund you the day(s) you dont stay. Camping is $10 per person per night, tax included and includes use of the showerhouse. (We hoped the flat rate would work better than the odd some of $9.18 as in the past) 4) There will be no campfires in the campground, though you are welcome to use a grill or cookstove for cooking.5) Sorry to say this, but please leave your pet at home. They are not permitted at the music venue and it is very stressful on your pet and fellow campers to stake out a dog. It will be so busy with people, your dog will be happier in their quiet familiar home. Bottom line-dont bring your dog to WhatFest. Questions?
